Maurice Larivee Obituary
WOONSOCKET - Maurice L. Larivee, 72, passed away suddenly, Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was the beloved husband for 34 years of
Carol L.
(Ferschke) Larivee. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Paul and Gertrude (Poulin) Larivee.
Mr. Larivee was a teacher's assistant for the Woonsocket School Department for 45 years and was the #1 sports fan and bus driver for the Mt. St. Charles Academy after school sports program for over 20 years. He has been a Woonsocket resident for 34 years. First and foremost, he was a man of God. He enjoyed attending all of his children's activities and loved gardening, making videos and every genre of music, especially sacred music. During the late 70's and early 80's he played the drums with his families wedding band.
In addition to his wife Carol, he was the father of Henri P., Amanda-Rose J., Christian P., Aaron M., Zachary L., Jacob M., Monique K. and Andrew T. Larivee. He was the brother of Jeanne Cabana, Madeleine Porter, Rachel Montanaro, Lucille Lavallee, Bernard, Leo, Pierre, Eugene and the late Albert and Monique Larivee. He was the grandfather of Isabella and Gabriella Larivee.
His funeral will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9:30am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Providence. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation, Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Rd., Irondale, AL 35210, will be appreciated. Maurice will be missed. He was a dedicated member of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste, now Catholic Financial Life. So many area residents relied on his selfless commitment to helping others. He definitely has earned a front row seat in heaven.

I can remember Moe and Carol's wedding at St. Matthew's church in Central Falls. Father Marot was the officiant. He always had a big smile. He had the love of Christ within him. He was truly an
