Maurice Rashad Reynolds II

Maurice Rashad Reynolds was born February 14, 1989, to Shirley (Lathan) Banks and Maurice Jerome Reynolds in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was said to have died Sunday, June 4, 2023, while at Marshall Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Marshall, Michigan. Maurice was
affectionately known as "Moe" by all who loved him.
He received Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age. After rededicating his life to the Lord on May 30, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Moe's determination was to "Preach to the people" as he typed out his vision for the future on his tablet during a visitation from one of the local ministers. The Message of Moe's life of hope, faith, and perseverance will continue to live on in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother, OL Foster, and Sara Lee Foster; paternal grandfather, Amos Rawls, Jr.; his paternal great grandparents, Limmie Reynolds, Sr., and Annie Bell Reynolds; and paternal great uncle Curtis Reynolds.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Shirley (Lathan) Banks, and father, Maurice Reynolds I (both of Kalamazoo); five children-Maurice, Jr., Sharod, Shamar, and MaKiya Reynolds, and Tavie Hughes (all of Kalamazoo); seven siblings-(three maternal) Marcus Lathan, Demisha Lathan (Detroit), and Danielle Lathan (all of Kalamazoo), (and four paternal) Devin Reynolds and Yolanda Richardson (both of Detroit), Ahlona Sanders-Fields and Tiana Reynolds (both of Kalamazoo); one god-brother, Mario McCollough (Kalamazoo); grandmothers Annie Lathan (Kalamazoo) and Kathy Rawls (Benton Harbor); god-uncle and god-aunt, Rodney and Linda Johnson (of Benton Harbor); aunts Earla Reynolds, and Donna Reynolds and Jeanette Reynolds (all of Benton Harbor), Yasman Reynolds (Nashville, TN), Doris Hendrix (Las Vegas, NV), uncles Anthony Reynolds and Quincy Rawls (both of Benton Harbor), Limmie Reynolds, Jr. (Detroit), special aunts Dorothy Foster, Jeannie Foster, Shawn Sanders, and Nancy Sanders; uncle Robert Lathan, and favorite uncle, JB Sanders; special cousins, Gotti, Brian, Tiffany, Bre Bre, Terrance, Jamar, Shakira, and Robert Lathan, Jr. (all of Kalamazoo); special family-friends, Kindra Calhoun-Smith, and Mitchell Williams; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
