Maurise C. Predmore, 86, affectionately known as "Mo" or simply "The Boss"-passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at care facility in Kerrville.
Born on September 13, 1938, in New Jersey, Maurise was the only child of Marlin Cox and Nettie Doland Cox, who lovingly raised her in a home filled with warmth. She graduated from Franklin High School and began her working life in a local bank. She was often found in the lunchroom enjoying one of her favorites, a peanut butter and red onion sandwich being a combination that friends and coworkers never forgot.
Maurise met the love of her life, George Predmore, and together they raised three children: Tracy Stone (deceased), Terry Predmore of Palmetto, Florida, and Toni Predmore of Ingram, Texas. Maurise found great joy in the simple pleasures of life; bowling, playing cards, sitting around a campfire, and spending time outdoors surrounded by family and friends.
She also played a meaningful role in the lives of many children in her community through her work as a school bus driver for close friends, Dwayne and Louise Clark and later for Kerrville ISD.
After the passing of both her husband and father, Maurise and her beloved mother took to the road, traveling the United States as part of the Allegro RV community. Eventually, they settled in Ingram, Texas to be closer to her cherished grandchildren: Tyler, Alan, Kyle, and Kaila Stone, all of Texas.
Maurise was also a proud great-grandmother to Elaina Green of Missouri.
Following the loss of her mother in 1999, Maurise embraced a new chapter and met Rick Smith, who became her close friend and "buddy." For over 20 years, she managed the Armadillo RV Park, where her warm presence, quick wit, and strong spirit touched countless lives.
Known for her no-nonsense attitude and unmistakable charm, she earned the nickname "The Boss" a title she wore with pride. She was a character in the best sense of the word: spirited, caring, and unforgettable.

We both enjoyed knowing Maurice She had a great smile and a great sense of humor. She always talked to Colin about shark tank. She would called him up and ask him if he had watched a recent shark tank. They were both fans. We will miss seeing her and we send our deepest sympathy to Toni and her family.
