Nettleton-Mavis Elaine (Taylor) White passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. She was born on September 18, 1940 in Itawamba County to parents Ellis Taylor and Florence (Cox) Taylor. She lived most of her life in the Nettleton area. She was a Christian. She retired from the furniture industry. She enjoyed yard work, word puzzles but most of all spending time with family.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ronald Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemtery.
She is survived by one daughter, Lori Griggs (Johnny), two grandchildren, Renea Gazaway (Nathan), Tad Smith, three great grandchildren, Lexi Benson (Ryan), Ben Austin, Ava-Blake Austin, one great great grandson Will Benson, five sisters,Tina Edlin, Dean Leathers, Kathy Smithey (Clyde), Nell Warren, Linda Cox (Winford), two brothers, Dudley Taylor, Bill Taylor and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Danny White, one son Randy Hipps, one sister Virginia Shirley and one brother, Jay Taylor.
Visitation will be at the funeral home before service time from 12:30-2:00 p.m.
