Max Eugene Clark, Jr., 72, of Bellevue, Michigan, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1953, the son of Max E Clark and Violet (Thompson) Clark.

Max is survived by his Wife, Linda (Chantrene) Clark of Bellevue, Michigan; Two Stepdaughters, Patricia Wykle of Battle Creek, Pamela Jones of Battle Creek; Stepson, Gerald Wykle of Battle Creek; Three Grandchildren, Michaela Wykle of Battle Creek, Ren Jones of Battle Creek, and Deontae Cowan of Battle Creek; Great-granddaughter, Yul Gothard, Jr. of Battle Creek; Two Brothers, Henry Clark of Battle Creek, and Larry Wykle of Battle Creek; Half-Brother, Larry Wykle of Battle Creek; Two Half-Sisters, Ruthann Cross of Worcester, MA, and Regina Winters of California. He was preceded in death by his Father, Max E Clark, Sr., Mother, Violet Clark, and Half-Brother, Bruce Clark.

Max grew up in Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Central with the class of 1972. Max Married Linda on May 27, 1988. He used to train Sulky Racehorses for his dad and his uncle when he was growing up. He learned to work well with horses. Max's true passion was fishing. He loved to be out there on the water bass fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Max was out there fishing year-round. Max was an avid Tigers and Lions fan and would watch their games. He also enjoyed trips to the casino. He was a gambler at heart.

A Memorial will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Friday, February 20th, beginning at 1:00 pm.
