Max N. Harbison, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Max was born November 1, 1934, in Russellville, Indiana. He has been a coastal resident for forty-nine years.
He was in the United States Air Force for 26 years before retiring on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Max leaves cherished memories for his wife, Barbara Shook; his two children, James L. Harbison and Janet A. Morris; his grandchildren, Shannon M. Sumpter and Brian D. Bates; and son-in-law Johnny R. Morris.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
