Max Sabin Obituary

Max Clifford Sabin age 80 of Vicksburg MI passed away on March 12 2024. Max was born in Vicksburg on August 24, 1943 to Earl and Edna Sabin. Max was the third son of five. Earl Jr., Richard, Max, James, William.

In his early days Max was introduced to the love of his life and the mother of his children. When they went their separate ways on that fateful day, he said, “I’m going to marry that girl”.

When Susan graduated they were joined in holy matrimony in 1964 and celebrated being married for 55 years and cherished that they were able to spend 60 total years together. They had a daughter 2 years later (1966) Kimberly Sue Sabin (Tripp), then 2 years later (1968) a son, Tony Lee Sabin.

Max worked as a mold maker for years. Eventually going out on his own, in 1985 he started his own shop by the name of Robin Engineering. By the time he reached retirement age he was operating as A&B Molding.

He was a great husband and father and friend to many. He was a man of God. He taught Sunday school for years, on the board and many other things he did at Chapman Memorial Church. He was a devoted Christian, father, husband. He was loved by everyone! If you knew Max he was one of a kind!

He was preceded in passing by his wife Susan Marie Sabin (Potter), father, mother, and brothers: Earl Sabin Jr. and Richard Sabin.

Left to cherish Max’s loving memory are his children: Kimberly Sue Tripp Sabin (Howard), Tony Lee Sabin (Joy), 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Please join us for a memorial service at Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene at 7520 E U Avenue, Vicksburg, MI 49097 on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, with a time of visiting beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of  service at 12:00 noon.
