Portsmouth, VA – Maxine W. Ainsley, born on July 19, 1928, in Gloucester, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on November 16, 2025, in Portsmouth, Virginia, at the age of 97.

She leaves behind her cherished sons, Keith Ainsley, her caretaker, of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Gary Becknell of Summerfield, Florida, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
