Joanne Natalie (Dzadony) Ainsley, age 78, of Charleroi, PA passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at The Residence at Hilltop in Monongahela, PA. She was born August 2, 1946, in McKees Rocks, PA daughter of the late Joseph W. Dzadony and Elizabeth J. (Kar) Dzadony. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her brother, Joseph S. Dzadony; mother-in-law, Ruth Z. Ainsley and brother-in-law, Wayne K. Ainsley.
Joanne was a 1964 graduate of Stowe High School and Duff's Business School in 1965. She was employed as a secretary then later made supervisor for Verizon. Joanne was a member of Uniontown Church of the Brethren where she served as a Deacon, summer Sunday School teacher, president and secretary of the Golden Circle Class, and Music and Worship chair. She loved being with her church family. She was a member of Verizon Pioneers Helping Hands and a Montour High School cheerleading coach.
Left to cherish Joanne's memory are her husband of 33 years, Gary K. Ainsley; stepdaughters, Sheri L. Gottheld (Eric) and Heather R. Ainsley-Kerr (Jesse); grandson, Justin E. Gottheld and brother-in-law, Rodney B. Ainsley; sisters-in-law, Pattie A. Ainsley and Iris A. Dzadony; nephews and nieces, Scott A. and Lee A. Ainsley, Ryan J., Adam P., and Dana L. Dzadony.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Friday, December 13th from 5 until 8 p.m. including a Deacon's service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, December 14th at Uniontown Church of the Brethren from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Joanne's life at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Edwin Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Joanne can be made to Uniontown Church of the Brethren, 20 Robinson Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
