Maxine Haley, 89, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away March 30, 2023, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on January 21, 1934, in Nimmons, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Barbara (Tipton) Scales.
Maxine was united in marriage to Paul Haley on January 27, 1951.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Haley; father, Floyd Scales; mother, Barbara Scales; brother, Sonny Tipton; and sister, Connie Scales.
Maxine is survived by her three sons, Steven Ray Haley of Piggott, Arkansas, Keith (Dina) Haley of Holcomb, Missouri, and Mike (Melissa) Haley of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Vicky (Clete) Gribble of Alton, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, Angie, Jennifer, Stephanie, Steven Jr., Nicole, Brian, Kim, Max, Michelle, Regina, Timothy, and Michael; fifteen great-grandchildren, Kathlyn, Megan, Grace, Olivia, Ava, Dylan, Brandon, Alexis, Chloe, Grayson, Kylie, Levi, Brendan, Alex, Haley; brother, Don Ray (Barb) Scales of Rector, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 3, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Terry Sanders officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
