Just saw this obit. Our family LOVED Maxine. She was a wonderful caring human being. So sorry we had not spoken in years since she helped several family members in multiple ways. She would sit at the bedside of my mother, Mamie Bingham, in the hospital when I was working just to "make sure" she was taken care of. My mother loved Maxine--she had a sweet personality and a great deal of practical wisdom. She also helped Cecilia & Lincoln Henderson with Ceil's mother Ann Robinson, when she had health issues. She was like part of our family for years! It's sad to loose touch with special people-someone as loving and special as Maxine. She will never be forgotten. I'm sure she in heaven laughing and talking with my mother and my aunt! Blessings the family.
