James Conn Obituary
PEWEE VALLEY
James "Jimmy" Thomas Conn, age 81, of Pewee Valley, passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2026. Jimmy was born Jan. 11, 1945, to the parents of Frank and Dot Conn.
Jimmy never met a stranger. He loved to cook and bake goods to share with friends and family. He never met a Ford Mustang or dog he didn't love. He was a cook in the Army Reserve and retired from GE. He spent many years helping his brother Steve with his lawn care business.
He was the most loving, caring and best dad and granddad anyone could ask for. Always giving and thinking of his wife, daughter, grandson and family, he was more than willing to give a helping hand.
Jimmy was preceded in death by the love of his life of over 55 years, Linda "Sue" Conn.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzann Raymond (Dale); grandson, Gavin; brother, Steve Conn (Cathy); nephews, Mike and Lance; in-laws, Jen Dick; nephew; Ned Dick; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Betty Denton; nieces, Julie Lamar (Brandon) and Jennifer Milborn (Jeff); sister-in-law, Judy Coffman; niece, Jill Keal (Emily); and great-nephews and niece.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Feb. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.

He used to come down to St. Aloysius and play basketball in his combat boots after he'd been mowing. He was a tough defender and enthusiastic player. His nickname was "Killer" Conn.

Hate to see this, I worked with Jimmy at GE for many years, we had some good times. He was a good guy. Prayers for the family, I´m sorry for your loss.
