He is survived by his children, Susan Abel, Jimmy (Christy) Abel, Scott Laduke, Ricky Abel, and Randy (Jackie) Abel; grandchildren, Bryant (Jessica) Abel, Kylie Harris, Landyn Harris, Travaus Sims, Taylor (Caleb) DeLay, Austin Abel, Ricky Abel Jr., Ronnie Oldfield, and Johnnie Oldfield; several great-grandchildren and beloved grand-dogs.
A service to honor Mr. Abel's life will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make memorial contributions to your local humane society in his honor.
