Maxwell James Stacy

Artist, creator, musician, Maxwell "Max" Stacy, 26 years young, was born in Detroit, MI on November 30, 1997 to James and Jennifer Rossi. He's a beloved son, cherished brother, treasured brother-in-law, and faithful friend to many.
He left this world on January 4, 2024, leaving behind nothing but precious memories that his family and loved ones will carry with them in their hearts.
Max was the life of the party. He lived fervently. He always committed himself to anything he set his heart and mind to. He lived life on the edge and pushed boundaries. He pushed people outside their comfort zone. He explored. He dared.
He would create magic every chance he'd get.
He was a true artist in every sense of the word.
He painted. He drew. He did glass blowing and wood working. He sang and wrote music. He acted. He hosted a game show. He was a radio announcer, and more. He expressed who he was in all he did. When he walked into a room, his presence was known and felt. Most importantly, he always managed to make people laugh with his quirks and charm.
He was loved and admired. He gave back to his community. Helped out his local church and volunteered at numerous events. He gave of his time and energy freely without expecting anything in return.
Being a truth seeker, he searched endlessly to find true meaning in life. Gratefully, the last few months of his life, he found a deep connection to the divine. His thirst for spiritual connection was quenched. He found peace and refuge in scripture and in deep reflections. Most importantly, he was at peace with who he was.
He honored the truth. He didn't sugar coat. He lived transparently with his heart on his sleeve. He lived deeply and with more passion than some of us will ever get to experience.
To honor his short yet FULL life, his family will be holding a visitation service on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at 9:00 am, followed by mass at 11:00 am at St-Thecla's Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, MI, 48035.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the below charities in honor of Max:
Seva Circle, 5025 Old Middleton Rd, Madison, WI 53705, who is dedicated to providing help to multiple single-mission organizations and non-profits and the Ric Jasso Scholarship Fund in Alpena, MI, 109 N. Second Ave. Suite 300, Alpena, MI 49707, who are helping to make art accessible for everyone.
