Cremation SourceIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wanda Kay (Kline) Baum, who left us on February 5, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Hamtramck, Michigan on May 29, 1957, to the late William and Katherine (Isrow) Kline. Loving mother to Jen (Vin Celli) Hazard and Jackie (Brian Yenna) Harvey. Beloved Grandmother to Brody Hazard and Gabriel Celli. Big sister to the late Raye Kline and the late William Kline Jr., Darlene (Mark) Bielecki, Kerry (Scott) Duletzke, and Peggy (Don Bishop) Kline. Aunt to Kristina (Rob Asher) Weigle, Dr. Joseph (Raven) Bielecki, Suzanne Edwards, Jennifer Edwards, Nicole Weigle, and Kathleen Bielecki. Great Aunt to three nephews. Dearest friend to Teresa Hakim.
Diagnosed more that 30 years ago with Multiple Sclerosis, Wanda never let it hold her back from continuing to enjoy the things that brought her happiness. She continued to work and was employed by Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She enjoyed travel, baking, and playing euchre with family but her greatest joy was her grandchildren. “Grandma Wanda” was a constant presence on the sidelines of all of Brody’s baseball and football games and at every school performance for both Brody and Gabriel. Wanda was the co-leader of two MS Support groups – her kindness, leadership, homemade cookies, and online Jeopardy games brought comfort and connection for many.
Family and friends are invited to gather at her home on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, to celebrate Wanda's life and share cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the MS Society in Wanda's honor. https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/campaigns/Together-for-Wanda
Wanda will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
