May Boik Obituary
May had a deep love for nature and found great solace in gardening. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing spirit and was admired by all who visited. She also had a profound passion for music, spending countless hours singing, playing the piano, and dancing. Her melodious voice and graceful movements were a source of joy to her family and friends along with her beloved Springer Spaniel Tia.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Boik; her parents, Anthony and Nora Welch; and her sister, Shirley Boike. May cherished her family above all, and her memory will be carried on by those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Candace) Boik and Marsha (Joseph) Ferda. Her legacy continues through her grandchild, Crystal (Greg) Turco, and her three great-grandchildren, Liam, Levi, and Raelynn Turco. May is also survived by her dear sister, Mary Gross.
May Boik will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her, but her spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

My family and I are very sad to hear of the death of May Boik and send our sincere sympathies to her children, Mike and Marcia and their families. I have known May and her husband Mel since they joined St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Flat Rock, MI. around 1970. Mae had a lovely singing voice and was very active in the church choir.

I remember May as being a very sweet and caring person. My folks, Howie and Jan Schuman, were good friends with Mel and May. I remember being at their house in 1970 for New Year´s Eve. May let us make our own individual pizzas. Being a kid, I thought that was pretty fun.
