Mayank Ramchandra Patel, 53, passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Danbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Vaishali (Rajnikant) Patel for 28 years.

Mayank was born in Khambhoj, Gujarat, India, on February 2, 1972, the son of Hasumatiben Ramchandra Patel and the late Ramchandra Maganbhai Patel. He was educated in India, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Mayank worked as a line leader for Belimo Aircontrols Inc. in Danbury for over six years. In addition to spending quality time with his family and friends, Mayank enjoyed traveling, playing garba, listening to Jagjit Singh, hiking, and biking.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves behind his two children his daughter, Hela Patel, and his son, Hetarth Patel, both of Danbury as well as his brother, Manish Patel, of India.

He was not just a biker but a free spirit who found joy in every journey both on two wheels and in life. His humility, generosity, and ever-smiling nature will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
Mayank's legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, laughter, and courage.

He will forever remain in our hearts as a loving husband and father, loyal friend, and compassionate human being.

Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. (EST) at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury, CT. Cremation will follow the services at the funeral home.
