Joshua Stevens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory - Middlebur on Mar. 8, 2026.
It is with deep sadness that the family of Joshua Todd Stevens announces his passing on March 7, 2026, at the age of 44, in Southbury, CT.

Josh was born to the late Pamela and Anthony Stevens on August 27, 1981 in Danbury, CT. As a boy, he developed a love for aviation, a passion that drove his future. He earned his private pilot's license and enjoyed as much time in the sky as possible. He attended Bridgewater State College for Aviation Management and shortly after obtained his Dispatcher certificate. Josh spent 20 years managing various operations departments for privately owned aircraft.

Josh was the kindest, most amiable person with a unique sense of humor. He loved outdoor adventures, from camping and mountain biking in the summer, to snowboarding in the winter. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle at any opportunity. In 2007, Josh met April, the love of his life. Together, they spent seven years adventuring before marrying in 2014. Their bond grew even stronger with the arrival of their two children, who were the pride of Josh's life. He cherished his roles as a husband and father.

Josh is survived by his wife, April; two children, Willow and Jacob; father in law, Dave Fekete; sister and brother in law, Dawn and Justin Gibson; nephews and niece, Liam, Mason and Meadow; brother, Jeremy; Denis Finn; and many friends and family who will never forget his loyalty and his one-of-a-kind personality. Josh's passing has left a void in the lives of all of us, but his memory and legacy will live on in all our hearts.

Arrangements: Calling hours with Joshua's cremains present will be held on Saturday March 14, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory 200 Benson Road Middlebury. Final disposition is private and at the convenience of the family.
