Maynard Jerry Duncan

Maynard Jerry Duncan, age 85, passed away at home peacefully in the arms of his wife, Judy and his son, Marty on Sunday morning, December 14, 2025.

Jerry is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Duncan Hill Hunley,

Parents, Maynard Duncan and Carrie Martin Duncan of Briceville.

Jerry leaves his wife of 63.5 years, Judy Crosby Duncan, son, Marty R. Duncan, sister, Betty Duncan Loy of Atlanta, GA., grandchildren: Justin Hill and wife Addie of Knoxville; Jacob Duncan and wife Callie of Knoxville; Jordan Duncan Soderholm and husband Steve of Nashville. Great-grandchildren: William, Sadie and Sutton Soderholm, Charlie, Tatum and Boomer Duncan, and Riley and Camden Hill.

Jerry spent nearly half a century as a Ford dealer in his business, Jerry Duncan Ford Inc. in Harriman, Tennessee. He began his career in 1975 and was chosen chairman of the Ford National Dealer Council. Jerry was known for his wise council to many people seeking it over the years… he took time with people and has left an extraordinary legacy for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family is honoring Jerry's wishes for a Celebration of Life Service at a later date, which will be announced. Thank you for your prayers.
