McCoy Bogle Obituary
McCoy "Jocko" Wayne Bogle Jr., 63, of Decatur, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Decatur, AL. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 02, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Raymon Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Sanderson Cemetery in Town Creek, AL.
Born on October 27, 1959, to McCoy and Ethel Parker Bogle Sr., Jocko enjoyed collecting knives, fishing, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Tammy Dawson Bogle; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Jocko was preceded in death by his parents, McCoy and Ethel Parker Bogle; sister, Johnna Bogle Harned; and brother, Jason Bogle.
Pallbearers will be Brent Dawson, Josh Dawson, Justin LouAllen, Joey LouAllen, Daniel Widner, Nick Harville, Aiden Harville, and Raymon Sutton.
The family extends special thanks to Daniel and Tracy Widner, Lana Brandford Cole, Candy Letson, Dr. Alan Schmidt, the nurses and staff of Decatur Morgan Hospital, and the staff of River City Health and Rehab.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanderson Chapel Methodist Church Steeple fund.
