McKayla was a sweet Valentine born in Indianapolis, IN Feb. 14, 1999 to the late Danielle Mendenhall Holt and Waylon R. Holt. He father survives. She attended the Indiana School for the Blind until she was 21 years old. Her absence of sight did not impair her loving heart and smile to all who knew her.
In addition to her Father, Waylon, missing her presence are her siblings, Janelle, Ian and Olivia Holt; paternal grandparents, Jack and Cheryl Holt; maternal grandparents, Jeremy and Teresa Dearinger; aunts, April Mendenhall and Talaina Mounce; uncles, Dillon and Caleb Dearinger, Jeremiah Holt; loving cousins , Shaela Brown and Kylie Holt.
Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory. The Funeral will follow at 1 PM with Pastor George Mitchell officiating. Cremation will follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to The Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired 5050 E 42nd Street Indianapolis, IN 46226.
