In Loving Memory of McKenna Jo Rogers
December 16, 1986 – September 11, 2025

With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce that McKenna Jo Rogers went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on December 16, 1986, in Portland, Oregon, to her devoted parents Edward J. Powell and Mardi Carbone, McKenna was a radiant soul whose light touched everyone she met.

McKenna was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, and a loyal friend. For nearly 13 years, she shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Jeremy Rogers. Together, they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was the proud and adoring mother of her two children-her son, Duke Powell, and her daughter, Dakota Rogers-who were the absolute center of her world.

McKenna's passion for beauty extended beyond the surface. A gifted makeup artist, she saw every face as a canvas and every brushstroke as a way to help others feel radiant from within. She had a special love for glitter, sparkle, and all things makeup-a reflection of the vibrant, dazzling spirit she carried in her heart. Her artistry wasn't just a career-it was a calling, and she pursued it with joy, creativity, and dedication.

Known for her infectious laughter and quick wit, McKenna had a magnetic personality that made her unforgettable. She brought light and humor to every room she entered, and her ability to make friends wherever she went was one of her many gifts. She had a heart full of kindness, an energy that uplifted others, and a sense of humor that could brighten the darkest days.

McKenna also had a deep love for animals, especially horses, and found peace and connection in their presence. Her compassionate spirit and nurturing soul shone through in all aspects of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeremy Rogers; her children, Duke Powell and Dakota Rogers; her mother, Mardi Carbone; her stepfather, Dave Yurtin; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends whose lives she touched.

McKenna's legacy is one of love, light, laughter, and beauty-both inside and out. She will be missed more deeply than words can express, but the joy she brought to others will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM, also at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home Chapel, located at 4200 Denton Highway, Haltom City, Texas 76117.
