McKenzie Sherri Jo Debardeleben, 31, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on October 19, 2025. She was born on June 26, 1994, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
McKenzie attended college and later built a career with the Publix Distribution Center, where she was a dedicated and valued member of the warehouse team. She was known for her kindness, laughter, and the positive energy she brought to everyone around her.
McKenzie loved spending time outdoors and found joy in swimming, cheerleading, and relaxing at the beach. Above all else, her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beloved daughter, Sophia. Sophia was her pride and joy—the light of her life—and McKenzie’s love and devotion to her daughter were evident in everything she did. The bond they shared was beautiful and unbreakable, and her spirit will live on through Sophia’s smile, laughter, and heart.
She will also be remembered for her radiant smile, her thoughtful heart, and her ability to make others feel loved, supported, and valued.
McKenzie is survived by her cherished daughter, Sophia; her loving parents, Kathie Eileen Debardeleben and Ernest Lynwood Debardeleben; her sister, Taylor; her brother, Ryan; and her adored niece and nephew, Skylar and Dalton. She is also survived by a large and devoted circle of family and friends, including many cousins who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by close family friends who held a special place in her heart.
McKenzie’s warmth, laughter, and generous spirit will never be forgotten. Though her time here was far too short, her love—especially for her daughter—will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32806.
