McKeon McKeon-Fish
June 8, 1990 - August 24, 2025
McKeon "Micky" Christopher McKeon-Fish was born on June 8, 1990 in Vineland, N.J. and resided in Newfield, N.J. He died on August 24, 2025 at the age of 35 after sustaining injuries from being struck by a vehicle while taking his morning run near his home. Micky graduated from Millville High School, class of 2008. He received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Mick was employed by RK Chevrolet in Vineland (since 2018) as a GM World Class Technician, the highest degree of technical competency achievable. He was also the first technician at RK to hold this title. Beyond his academic and professional accolades, he had many interests and passions. Micky's endless curiosity and drive to learn reflected his deep love of life and desire to always grow as a person. He always strived to be the best version of himself. He was an avid lover of the arts, particularly music. Micky was a talented musician, and played several instruments including acoustic, electric and bass guitars as well as the drums. He was a proud member of the band, Pyramids. Mick enjoyed traveling, with the most recent highlight being his trip to Japan. He loved (almost) everything cars and owned a vintage Nissan Skyline and Honda Civic race car. He also loved hiking in the Catskills and his frequent trips to NYC with his family. Mick was kind, generous and an amazing human being that inspired many, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a quick wit and playful sense of humor that brought laughter and comfort to those around him. Those closest to him knew him as "the best of all of us". Micky will be sadly missed by so many. Micky is survived by his loving mother, Margaret M. McKeon-Fish of Vineland; brother, Aaron McKeon-Fish; sister-in-law, Karina McKeon of NYC; girlfriend, Ayla Torres and Jah Jah "Junebug" Velez-Torres of Vineland. He is also survived by his uncle, Chris McKeon of Millville and his furry companion, Toast of Newfield. Mick is also survived by his band, countless friends that he considered family, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his father, Bruce Fish, maternal grandparents Frank and Vivian McKeon and paternal grandparents Gene and Gloria Fish.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we ask that everyone practice safe, responsible driving and perform an act of kindness.
