McKinley Carlton "Kenny" Mosley Jr.

McKinley "Kenny" Carlton Mosley, Jr., age 56, was born on April 1, 1969, in Butler, Alabama, to McKinley Carlton Mosley, Sr. and Betty Rachel Williams. He passed away peacefully at his home in Gilbertown, Alabama, on February 9, 2026, surrounded by friends and family.

Kenny enjoyed fishing and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Known for his generous heart, Kenny would give you anything you needed and help in any way he could. He spent more than 38 years working at Mosley Body Shop, where he took great pride in his work and especially enjoyed driving the wrecker. In quieter moments, Kenny found peace looking up at the stars. His kindness, loyalty, and willingness to always show up for others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denice Mosley; his son, Taylor Mosley; stepchildren Phillip Turner (Jessika), Brittany Donald (Brian), and Marissa Turner; and his cherished grandson, Henry Turner. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Betty Williams; sisters Paula Newton (Perry) and Nicole Bozone (Lonnie); and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, McKinley Carlton Mosley, Sr., and his stepfather, Robert Williams.

A memorial service will be held at Bumpers Funeral Home on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenny's life.

The family of Kenny Mosley would like to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to SouthernCare nurses Courtney and Tammy for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Kenny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Kenny's favorite charity.
