Mechelle McDermott Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH - Mechelle McDermott, 63, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Albany Medical Center, after a long illness.
Mechelle was born September 22, 1962, in Cleveland, Tenn., the daughter of the late Joseph McDermott and Marcia Matteo.
Mechelle was an avid animal lover.
She was a Line Worker for Magic Chef before becoming ill.
Survivors include her companion, Terrence C. Farley; brother, Stephen McDermott; son, Jessie; and daughter, Nicole.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Friday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral, at 1 p.m., in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
