Mechelle R. Taylor

Mechelle R. Taylor, 60, a resident of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi Saint Francis Hospital. Mechelle was born on July 2, 1963, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Billy and Ruby (Woolley) Boston. She graduated from Haysville Campus High School with the class of 1981. She married her husband, Jeffery Taylor, on May 22, 1999. Together they would spend many wonderful years together. Mechelle worked for USD 385 school district where she retired from. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed cooking, spending time with her husband, Jeffery Taylor, playing with her cat and dog, and spending time with family. When she was younger, Mechelle liked to collect unicorns. Preceding Mechelle in passing are her parents, Billy and Ruby Boston and her brother Billy Boston Jr.
Those left to carry on the wonderful memory of Mrs. Taylor include her husband, Jeffery Taylor, her sister, Melinda Mitchell and her husband Richard, niece, Megan Mitchell, nephew, Jeremy Mitchell, as well as many other family and friends.
There will be a visitation for Mrs. Taylor on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be at the Ottawa Indian Cemetery on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
