Megan Ashley Debo

Megan (Meg) Ashley Debo passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2024, at the young age of 36. We are heartbroken to lose Megan at such a young age. Megan was compassionate and always felt the need to take care of others. She loved deeply and was always there when someone needed a friend. She was generous in life as well as death, as a donor to others. Through her generosity others were offered hope and possibility. Lives were impacted by her decision to give in a selfless way. Megan had a beautiful smile and soul and loved the beach, turtles, dogs, Duke Basketball and Georgia Football, country music, Disney movies, and Friends. Megan's love of children led her to teaching and coaching. She loved playing softball and played competitively as a child and teenager.
Megan was born in Arlington, VA and grew up in Loudoun County and attended Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. After graduating from Coastal College of Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia, she returned to Loudoun County to start a career in teaching.
Megan will always be remembered with much love by her heartbroken parents, Jeff and Lorie Debo; Grandmother Nancy Myers, and a long list of deeply saddened Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, John and Mary Jane Debo and great-grandparents, Wilmer and Mary Barlup and her brother, Michael Debo. Megan was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She will live in our hearts forever.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 2:30 pm at the Lansdowne on the Potomac Community Center at 43459 Riverpoint Drive, Lansdowne, VA 20176.
