Melane Bayless

Melane Bayless, born January 15, 1964, passed away on January 16, 2026. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and love for her family.
Melane was a mother to her children: Jacob Noble (Misty), Vanessa Leonard, and Jo Bayless (Courtney). She was a proud grandmother to Neely, Julie, Brooke, Abbi, Presley, Owen, and Levi, all who brought her immense joy and happiness.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Davis, and her sister, Christine Potter. Melane also leaves behind her beloved nieces and a nephew: Brian Leonard, Chelsea Robinson, and Lyndsey Hernandez, all in which she loved dearly.
Melane had a special love for animals and found comfort and joy in caring for them. She had an infectious laugh and welcomed anybody as family. Above all else, she cherished her family, valuing time spent together and the bonds that connected them. Her compassion, warmth, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Melane memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri.
