Robert Gene Bayless, age 92 of Mt. Washington, passed away January 29, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Fannie Meeks Bayless, devoted father of Harvey (Teresa) Bayless and the late Allan Bayless, loving grandfather of Matthew and Robert Allan Bayless and Cadence Newell, and caring brother of Betty Kelly, Paul, Guy, and Marvin Conley, and the late David, Howard, and James Conley, and William Bayless. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Monday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. where friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. J.B. Covert Lodge #437 F. & A.M. service will be held at 10:45 a.m. If desired, memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
