Melanie Pearce Obituary
Melanie A. Pearce, 82, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, July 1, 2024. Born in North Charleroi on September 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Keller Jr. and Mildred E. (Lape) Keller Wanzilak.
Melanie was an active member of St. Sebastian Parish in Belle Vernon. She loved her faith and her wonderful family. Melanie was also the historian of the family.
She is survived by her sons, Edward C. (Mary L.) Pearce of Rostraver and Sean P. (Lisa M.) Pearce of Fayette City; grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua (Marina), Damian and Mason; and great grandchildren, Avery and Elliot.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Pearce; infant daughters, Janice, Marlene and Christine Pearce; brother, Donald G. Keller; and step-father, Andrew Wanzilak.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Sebastian Church with Msgr. James T. Gaston presiding. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
