Melba Leach, 88, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on September 1, 1936 to the late Boyd Dean & Virginia (Wesley) Taylor in Pulaski County. She enjoyed spending time working puzzels, and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Ginger) Leach, Doug (Judy) Leach, and Wayne (Loretta) Leach; her daughters, Regina (Bobby) Ashley, and Donna (Terry) Ashley; sisters, Dianna (Bobby) Witt and Linda Kay; and son-in-law, Danny Sims; twenty five grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Leach; her parents; her son, Gregory Allen Leach; her daughters, Debra Sims and Nancy Kidd; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Leach; her brother, Glenn Todd; three grandchildren, Tommy Ashely, Denese Leach, and Ralph Ray; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating.
Burial will be at Double Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time for services.
