Robert Leach Obituary
Born in Providence, RI on August 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Shirley E. (McNamara) Leach. Robert served his country in the United States Army, where he studied aviation and had intended to pursue a career as an air traffic controller. However, he returned home to learn the family business and eventually took over Hildrum's Oil Service in Warwick, dedicating himself to serving the community through the company for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Leach) Coleman and her husband, Scott; his son, Robert Leach and his wife, Jolie; his two grandsons, Jonathan Leach and Brayden Coleman; and his sister, Joyce E. Truax.
Funeral services and interment with military honors at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private, in accordance with his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
