Melbron "Jack" Gardner IV, age 33, passed away on March 10, 2026. He was born on June 9, 1992, in El Paso, Texas, and made his home in Canton, Mississippi.

Jack had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing whenever he had the chance. He was very tech-savvy and had a strong passion for science fiction. Above all else, Jack was family-oriented and treasured the time he spent with those he loved.

He is survived by his parents, Melbron Gardner III and Judy Gardner; his sister, Heather Skinner; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Sam Skinner, Ava Grace Skinner, Zoe Dorough, Landon Self, and Luke Dorough. He is also survived by his grandmother, Diane Johnson, along with an abundance of extended family members who will cherish his memory.

Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Gardner; his maternal grandfathers, Billy George and Glen Johnson; and his paternal grandmother, Suezann Rayner.

Jack will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his curiosity for technology and science fiction, and the deep care he had for his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, located at 125 E. Fulton St., Canton, MS 39046.
