Melinda R. Jones, 72, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on August 5, 2024. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 29, 1952 to the late James and Mary {Royer} Roberts.
In addition to her parents, Melinda was preceded in death by her brother John Roberts.
Melinda is survived by her loving daughter, Amelia (J. Jivens) Jones; son David Jones; grandson Caedyn Allen; former husband and friend Jeff Jones.
Melinda loved her many dogs, traveling to the beach with her grandson Caedyn, gardening and chocolate! She enjoyed spending time with her family and relaxing with a cold beverage.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, August 15th from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service that begins at 4:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, where Melinda will be laid to rest with the Jones family.
