Melinda Ann Kaiser, age 70, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away October 12, 2025. She entered this life on May 23, 1955, the daughter of Frank and Joanne (Tindle) Linn in Springfield, Missouri. Melinda was joined in marriage to Edward Kaiser, Jr. on August 6, 1977.
Melinda loved her family dearly, treasuring time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. Melinda was funny, bubbly, playful, sweet, caring, and compassionate, always with a smile on her face. She shared so many stories about raising her kids and about her life. Loving the Lord and caring for her family were her passions. She cherished teaching children for many years and adored watching the lightbulbs come on when they mastered a concept. Melinda loved cooking, crafting, celebrating holidays, hosting events, entertaining, studying Scripture, working puzzles, and attending her grandchildren's activities. The memories and moments created throughout the years will be treasured by all who knew her. Melinda is at peace, surrounded by a heavenly choir in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Matt) Watson of Ozark, Missouri; son, Edward (Missy) Kaiser III of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren: Katy Anne Watson, Brixton Watson, Hunter Kaiser, Mylie Kaiser, and Jack Kaiser; sister, Lisa Goodwin of Jackson, Missouri; sisters-in-law: Sina Ann (Steve) Miesner of Ballwin, Missouri, and Debbie Ebaugh of Henderson, Kentucky; nephews: Mike (Sarah) Goodwin of Jackson, Missouri, Bill (Megan) York of St. Louis, Missouri, Christopher York of St. Louis, Missouri, and Clayton (Amanda) Agnew of Henderson, Kentucky; nieces: Jennifer Beussink of Jackson, Missouri, Stacy (Aaron) Tolbert of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Sina Jaqueline (Jason) Sperling of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; as well as many other extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Kaiser Jr.; mother, Joanne Linn; father, Frank Linn; father-in-law, Edward Kaiser Sr; mother-in-law, Sina Kaiser; brother-in-law, Rick Ebaugh; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life held 1:00 p.m. on October 20, 2025, at The Springs Church, 5500 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri, with Pastor Zack Grell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The Springs Church, https://www.thesprings.church/give. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
