Lissa was employed with Riverside Market in Durand where she made many friends. Before working at Riverside Market, Lissa traveled with Michael's Amusements throughout the southern states and was even in control of quality at Mars Candy.
For those who knew Lissa best, to say she loved the holidays was an understatement. Lissa lived for the festive, over the top decorations for each and every holiday but especially Christmas. Her house was often the gathering location for friends and family. She hosted many campfire cookouts during the summer months at her house. Lissa always had music playing, some of her favorite artists were, Jelly Roll, Lewis Capaldi and Nickelback.
Lissa will be missed dearly for her heart of gold and her natural gift of making everyone feel welcome. She was taken from this world far too soon.
She is survived by her three children, Erin "Rin" Benchley, Noah Benchley and Abbie Benchley; nephew, Nathan Hicks; nieces, Jaedyn Deal and Maddie Deal; her fiancée, Robert "Bobby" Knowlton; former spouse and father of her children, Quintin Benchley; brother, Ryan Hicks and fur babies, Teddy & Poppy. Lissa is further survived by other family members and many dear friends and work colleagues who were like family to her.
