Melissa Galbraith, 56, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation, with her husband by her side.
She was born on January 28th, 1970, in Erie, a daughter to the late Patricia and David (Howell) Vehec, and Roman Pantoja.
Melissa graduated from Strong Vincent High School. She enjoyed playing bingo, scratch off tickets, going to the casino, and reading. She enjoyed going on cruises with her family, especially around the Bahamas. She cherished her two dogs, Jensen and Tinkerbell. Most of all, she loved spending time and taking care of her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is preceded in death by her brother, Mike and Aunt Lucy.
In addition to her father, Roman, Melissa is survived by her husband, Randy; two daughters, Madison Stearns (James) and Brittney Byers (Matt); grandchildren, Khloe, Aubrey, and Owen; sisters, Yavita and Crystal; brothers, Hector (Jessica) and Roman “Tay”; and sister in law, Jodie.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 602 W. 10th St., Erie, on Monday, March 9th from 2 until the time of service there at 4 Pm with Father Michael DeMartinis officiating. Entombment will take place the following day at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum.
