It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Melissa Maracle. A kind and compassionate soul who left us May 17th, 2025 at age 47. She was born March 5th, 1978 in Rochester N.Y..
Melissa grew up in York, N.Y., where she attended and graduated York Central School. Throughout her life, Melissa had lived in several places through Monroe and Livingston County, including Avon, Greece, and Ogden. Everywhere she went, she made an impact in the lives of the people she met. She can be described simply as an empath, someone who can easily and often without knowing it, connect with others on a meaningful level. She was known for her contagious laughter and smile, her selflessness, her determination, and her dedication to her family.
Melissa has been survived by; her parents, Tom Densmore and Debra Towne, her daughters Kylie Maracle and Krissa Gollel, as well as her other family members and the countless people who considered her a friend.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Melissa's calling hours on Friday, May 30th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Riverside Cemetary, 2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
