Melissa Anne Marks, age 46, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born August 17, 1976 in Wild Rose, the daughter of Faye G. Huber and Robin Tankersley. She married Jeremy J. Marks on October 24, 1998 at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma.
Melissa was a 1994 graduate of Wautoma High School, a graduate of Silver Lake College with a Bachelor’s degree – Psychology and a graduate of Lakeland College with a Master of Arts (M.A) – Community Counseling. Melissa started her career working for different organizations as an Intensive In-Home Case Manager / Family Therapist, Family & Community Therapist as well as a Mental Health Therapist. In 2015 Melissa started her own company as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her company was very successful over the years, she loved to help people and her clients meant the world to her.
Melissa enjoyed the simple things in life, shopping, driving, Tuesday movie night, dinning or her favorite was just being at home with her family talking, sharing stories, laughing, celebrating Holidays, Birthdays and watching TV together. Melissa dedicated herself to her daughters and husband. She wanted the very best for them, making sure they knew they were loved, cherished and cared for. Melissa’s eyes, heart and spirt would light up any room filling it full of life and will be dearly missed. We could not have asked for a better daughter, wife and mother.
