Melissa Ann McCully

Melissa Ann McCully, a beacon of strength and love, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on January 4, 1981, in Edison, New Jersey, she was a cherished daughter, a devoted mother, and a friend to all whose lives she touched.

Melissa's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and her capacity to love. As a single mother, she raised her beloved son, Damian Castro, with an abundance of love and dedication. Her parents, Andrew and Camille McCully, instilled in her the values of family and resilience, which she carried with her throughout her life. She was a special aunt and a godmother to many, always ready to offer her support and guidance. Her grandparents, Charles and Grace McCully, and Orlando and Louise Liotti, preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love that Melissa honored every day. She will be deeply missed by her numerous caring aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, a multitude of friends, and canine protector Loki.

Professionally, Melissa was a respected Litigation Paralegal at RAZ, where her sharp mind and tenacious spirit made her a formidable presence in the legal community.

Melissa's interests and hobbies were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. She was an excellent mother who never missed an opportunity to celebrate life's moments with her family, ensuring that traditions were kept alive and cherished. Her loyalty and protectiveness were as evident in her personal life as they were in her professional endeavors. Known for her outgoing nature and straightforwardness, Melissa never left anyone guessing about her thoughts or feelings.

A die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Yankees, Melissa enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of sports. The beach was her sanctuary, a place where she found peace and joy in the warmth of the sun. She was also a fan of scary movies, an avid cook who was the Queen of kitchen gadgets, loved throwing parties, and a devoted follower of the band New Kids on the Block.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday February 14th from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt.73 South, Marlton, NJ 08053. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturdayat the funeral home.
