Melissa was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, wife, and a proud new grandmother. She is survived by her children Alexis Parrott (Jose Lainez), and Julian Weissinger; granddaughter Alaina Lainez; mother, Doreen Potter; her father, Peter Potter; her sister, Dena Potter (Donald Slaght); her nephews, Connor and Cody Henry; her husband, Jason; and her stepchildren, Joey and Ryan.
Her greatest joy in life was her children, Alexis Parrott and Julian Weissinger. In recent weeks, Melissa’s heart swelled with even more love as she became a grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter, Alaina Lainez. Though their time together was short, Melissa found deep fulfillment in holding her newborn granddaughter, feeling an overwhelming sense of pride and tenderness. The joy she felt in becoming a grandmother was a milestone she cherished deeply, and the memories of that time will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Melissa was predeceased by her grandparents, Andy and Jean D’Ettore, and Jack and Joanne Potter. Her deep love for her family and her unwavering devotion to those she cared about will leave a lasting impact.
