Melissa Amber Piskor

Melissa Amber Piskor, age 45, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2023, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, due to complications from a long-term illness. She was with her life partner of 25 years, Peter Nordine, and her parents, Robert and Teresa Piskor at the time of her passing.

Melissa was born on November 13, 1978 to Robert and Teresa Piskor. Her career included work in the health care and food care industry. Melissa was known for her kindness and generosity. She was an animal lover and enjoyed rescuing and caring for her pets. She enjoyed traveling with Peter and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.

Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, two uncles and one cousin. She is survived by her life partner of 25 years, Peter Nordine; her parents, Robert and Teresa Piskor; her siblings, Heather Piskor, Sarah (Carl "TC) Davis, Robert (Jessica) Piskor, and Rebecca Piskor; her nieces, Layla, Zoey and Chelsea; her nephew, Silas; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

No formal service will be held. Melissa's family will hold a Celebration of Life Ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Melissa's honor to one of the following charities, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The American Diabetes Foundation or the Lakewood Kitten Rescue located in Lakewood, NY. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., Erie, PA.
