Melissa Ann Sanchez, lovingly known as Nana, passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2025, at the age of 47, with her parents by her side.
Melissa attended Jose Cardenas Elementary School and later graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. Melissa loved attending weddings and quinceañeras, going to the beach, family vacations, and taking walks in the park.

Melissa is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jose V. Lopez; uncle Pedrito Lopez; various aunts and uncles; paternal grandfather, Manuel Sanchez; paternal grandmother, Margarita Sanchez.
Melissa is deeply loved and will be tremendously missed by her parents, John and Florentina Sanchez; brother, John (JR) Sanchez (Marina); nephew, Dean Sanchez; maternal grandmother, Enriqueta S. Lopez, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heaven has gained another precious soul, guided home by the angels. Rest now, our beautiful Nana, in God's kingdom of everlasting joy.
