Melissa Renee VanArtsdalen

Melissa Renee VanArtsdalen passed away on the afternoon of March 2, 2023 and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Melissa loved her family and friends with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with everyone and loved vacationing in Wildwood, NJ. She was the light of the room. You would often find her listening to music and dancing to the beat while being loud about it so that you knew she was there. When she was not listening to music, you could find her around her pets, napping, or watching television. Her favorite shows included Full House, Family Matters, One Tree Hill, and various cartoons.
Melissa was born March 16, 1991 to Earl VanArtsdalen, Jr. and his wife Michelle in Magnolia, NJ. She is predeceased by her mother Michelle VanArtsdalen (1997) and grandparents Earl C. VanArtsdalen, Sr. (1996) and Arleen VanArtsdalen (2022) of Magnolia, NJ, stepmother Mary Minyon VanArtsdalen (2018), and aunt Patti VanArtsdalen Patrone (2014). She is survived by her father, Earl VanArtsdalen, Jr., brothers Matthew of Tunkhannock, PA and Joshua of Stratford, NJ.; beloved stepmother Maryann Miller; aunts and uncles Danny (Michelle), Bruce, Jess, Stacey, and Chris; nieces Mariah (Michael), Kayla, Tori, Lela, Ariana and Izzy; cousins Gregory (Lilly), Timothy, and Samantha; extended family members Marilyn, Amanda, and Tiffany; great nephew Michael Dominic; and many friends and other relatives throughout southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia region.
