MelissaKay Doris Babbitt

MelissaKay Doris “Missy” Babbitt, 37, of Jerome passed away March 12, 2025. She was born August 1, 1987 in Missoula, Montana to Robert Babbitt and JoLynn Eichert. Missy graduated from Roseville High School in Roseville, California in 2007.

Missy did not attend a specific church but was a proud child of God. She had many hobbies including coloring, painting, fishing, playing house, bowling, dancing, shooting, swimming, camping, singing, folding clothes, and hooking. She especially had a love for wrestling, John Cena, cats, the lottery, and of course, August 1st (which was her birthday and favorite day of the year).

Missy was one of a kind, and one of the most caring, loving, and compassionate souls that anyone was privileged to know. Her love for her mom was undeniable.

Missy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Babbitt; aunt, Caral Hilliard; cousin, Chance Hilliard; Grandpa Babbitt; and great grandparents, Eichert and Gardner.

She is survived by her mother and bonus step-father, JoLynn and Allen Gilmore; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Doris Eichert; paternal grandmother, Susanna Connour; brother, Patrick Gilmore; sister, TonyaLynn (Calvin) Frates; brother, Roy (Bobbie) Gilmore; sister, Lisa (Dustin) McKean; sister, SheenaLee (Christopher) Perhson; sister, JessicaRae (Jonathan) Radicke; sister, Jasmine (Hunter) Lamoreaux; half-brother, Hurley Otto; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Missy’s Life will be announced in the summer, to be held on her birthday, August 1, 2025.
