Melody Robin Rush, born March 21, 1962, in Harrison, Arkansas, to David and Jean Ann Roberts, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

On December 3, 1983, Melody married Glen Rush, whom she had known since she was 13 years old. They shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. Her greatest joy was raising her children, Tanner Rush and Hayley Rush. She was also a proud Nana to Rutledge Rush and Sophia Williams.

Melody was a beloved school teacher for 17 years. During that time, she shared her faith and talked to many young children about Jesus.

Melody was a vibrant, fun, and loving woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. For the last five years, Glen and Melody lived in Oklahoma City, where they enjoyed being close to their daughter and granddaughter. They were active members of Crossing Community Church, where Melody loved assisting with her Women's Bible study group.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Roberts, and her grandson, David Isaiah Rush.

She is survived by her loving husband, Glen; their children, Tanner and his wife Samantha, and Hayley; their grandchildren, Rutledge and Sophia; her three sisters, Cynthia Roberts, Rebecca Rush, and Erin Simpson; and her mother, Jean Ann Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel, 705 W. Meadow Ave., Springdale, Arkansas 72764.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel, 705 W. Meadow Ave., Springdale, Arkansas 72764, with Pastor John Venable officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gobbler Cemetery, 7028 US-412, Berryville, Arkansas 72638.
