Melva Uselton Obituary

A woman of many talents, she found joy in gardening, cooking, and home decorating, always creating a warm and welcoming environment for those she loved. Melva's nurturing spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hershel Uselton; her son, James Timothy Uselton; and brothers, Danny Acklin, Ted Acklin, and Ronnie Acklin. Melva is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Donnie); grandchildren, Christi (Rob), Vince (Shannen), Kyle (Carol Ann), and Chelsea (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Dylan, Evan, Kaylee, Aiden, Noah, Jane, and Abigail; brother, Jerry Acklin; sister, Tonya Roland; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Melva's legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Donnie and Cindy, please know that I'm praying for you and your family. Mrs. Uselton was one of my favorite patients at The Medicine Shoppe. She had such an infectious laugh and would always want me to visit. She will be missed.
