Melverna H. Williams, 76, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on December 9, 2023. She was born on September 16, 1947, in Athens, Arkansas to Alvin and Alice Hall.
Melverna earned her associate degree in education. She was employed with the Caddo Parish School System for 33 years where she retired. Melverna had a passion for reading and traveling, and she loved her children and teaching.
Melverna was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Alice Hall. Left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Tonya Williams, and Tracye Young and husband Jack; sister, Maxine Lowery; grandchildren, Christoper Williams and Brianna Young; 4 great-grandchildren; along with her 4-legged baby/fur baby (dog) Addie.
