Melvin Bruzek (age 86) passed away on June 9, 2024. He was born on January 26, 1938 to George and Dorothy Bruzek. Melvin was a beloved member of the West 7th community. He owned and operated his own lawn care business for years and was passionate about serving his customers. Melvin lived life to the fullest, raised a wonderful family, and was a great friend to many.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (nee Burback); stepsons James and Robert; brothers John and Arnold Bruzek; and parents George and Dorothy Bruzek.
Survived by his significant partner, Barbara Johnson, and her family; brothers George and Gerald Bruzek; sister Pat Womack; stepchildren Sandra, Darryl, Kimberly and Timothy; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Prayer service will be held at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 5PM with a visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
